Voted the Best Way to View the Gold Coast, I had to try it myself. Ventured up in an open cockpit plane from my father's war pilot days - and survived a half dozen loop de loops over DreamWorld!

The Tiger Moth Joy Ride was truly my best aerial sightseeing memory of a lifetime, bar none. I've sky dived from a Cessna, crewed for hot air balloon teams, logged hours in a range of fixed wing planes, whirled up in a helicopter, and am a certified glider pilot - but none of those compared to the eyes-wide-open thrill of viewing those red wings up side down!

Thanks to my Tiger Moth pilot Kirk Campbell, Mr. Full-on Acrobatic, for saving my breakfast with his smooth maneuvers. (Those pancakes turned flapjacks!)

Amelia Earhart, the movie, released same week Dee takes off on the highest thrill ride on the Gold Coast.
